PERSONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Dan is happily married and the proud father of four young children. He definitely brings real experience to the table when teaching children. It is important to him to become one of those special people that shine in children’s lives and he teaches your children as he would teach his own; with passion, focus, enthusiasm, caring and respect. To this end, along with his wife Larissa, Dan founded the Coastal Junior Golf Foundation, a non-profit organization created to give more children an opportunity to learn the game.

During his years of teaching, Dan has taught more than 35,000 (and counting) golf lessons. He has run golf programs for more than 10 local Bay Area schools. In addition, Dan has played tournament golf for over 25 years.

Dan was the Terra Nova high school golf coach in Pacifica for 10 seasons. During his tenure the school won four league championships. This was a great accomplishment because Terra Nova is a public school that utilizes a public course with very little instructional support.

Two of Dan’s goals are to continue to play competitive golf and to teach all who wish to learn, especially children, how to enjoy the game of golf.
